Is the guitar you used on your cover of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond"?
Tone is sweeeet on that track.

That looks and sounds like a sweet axe! I been cheking your site since you posted on my thread about my search for a pup and you did some good work man. How did you age the pickup rings? same way you did the pickguard or the pickup switch?

The lead tone in the aerosmith part was cool and i especialy loved the part at 2:02 for some reason.. it all sounds great but when it reached that part i went wow thats sounds nice, the way you can control the gain and thickness with the control is cool but the first seting sounded cool to me.. im stil looking for pups for my LP maybe i should consider these aswell.

id like to hear some higher gain stuff too, the non potting is been a constant worry for me when i try to pick a pup.. i woulda bought a seth a while back but i got afraid the non potting would be to much of a problem

Heh, cool Rid! ( a little off topic, about the Sole Pressure. I haven't forgot to write feedback to you but I have to wait until I get the neck to my '51 Caster so I can really try it out with a good single coil guitar. I'll PM you asap... )

Johnny, Yep it's the same guitar used at the "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" cover. But that track was recorded with the stock Gotoh pickups that measures in at 8.4k each. I haven't weighted it yet, and I don't have a scale here where I study. I'll have to weigh it next time I take it with me to my parents house.

Thanks for making my Wolfetone pains even worse!

I have Marshallheads en route from Wolfe right now, and they can't get here fast enough. Next will be a set of the Dr. Vintage humbuckers. Everything I have read and heard has been phenomenal.

Hmmm, interesting question

Well Thursday Burst costed me 720€ shipped to my door and taxes payed, plus all the mods... maybe around 1000-1100€. Buying a new LS80 (which today is a LS85) costs around 1100€ here in Finland. If I had to, I'd try to sell it for maybe 1100€. I don't think I could get a profit on it, but if the right buyer would try it out I bet he'd be ready to pay that. At least I would be myself! :laugh2:

Ok...Got the Dr. V's today and just finished installing them. They're pretty height sensitive so I need to spend some time with them to dial them in.

Been working on guitars all day so I'm throwing in the towel. I'll check back in once I have them dialed in and can give a better reviw.
