Hey everyone, I have two questions:
First, how do I get a hold of some hex poles for my JB? And do I just simply unscrew the old ones and screw in the new ones?
Second, there's a humbucker in a cheap cort strat style guitar that I have that I really really like and I can't identify it. There aren't any markings on it except "cort" and "made in korea". I've pretty much given up on trying to get another of the exact pick up from cort, so I was wondering if theres a way to test a pick up to see what exactly makes it up.
With that said, any suggestions for duncan pickups that sound like it would help... its a rather thin sounding but bright, sparkly sounding pick up that somehow sounds hot but performs with quite a bit of dynamic slap. Sounds a lot like an 80's metal sound... think "Jamie's Cryin'" and "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Its skinnier sounding than my JB (I've had them both in the same guitar) and has a much tighter, more lively tone with half the compression.
Any help would be awesome!
Thanks,
Nick
