Anyone around here mod one of these puppies? Any good mods that I should start with? Links are much appreciated.

Cool. I take those kinds of things to a tube expert and have them install a 3-prong plug, and 1/4 inch ins and outs. And have them make sure the tubes are strong and biased right of course. Nearly every PA I've had hasn't needed modded. They sound great as is usually.

^ Thats one of the quintessenital "DIY" old PA tube amps for modification. There is a wealth of information on making those amps into guitars amps, in particular the CHB-100. They do have the expensive 7868 tubes though.
I had one that had all the tricks in the book done to it. A nice amp, to be sure, but nothing I'd call earthshattering, however needs a LOT of manhours of modifications (the parts cost shouldn't be a deterrent )- in that I couldn't disagree more with The Star- not to deter you, just so you brace yourself;
I don't have any links, sorry, mine was custom built for me, and I'm not a tech.

I guess if your wanting to turn it into a fire breathing monster it'd probably take a lot of work, but most are simply nice clean and loud tube amps with some cool breakup at louder volumes that usually take pedals well.

Having said that, while I have one 7868 driven amp and some bogens I've never had that particular 100-watter.
