Picked up a Fishman Fluence Modern set, and I'm a little confused about coil tapping.

Ok, here's the PDF for the diagrams. The first two options are pretty straightforward, but the third option is a little confusing. It merely says "inner & outer", but doesn't say exactly what that means. I have a hunch that it means both inner and outer coils in parallel in both pickups. Anybody know?

Its an on-off-on switch. You’ll get:
Split inner coils - Full Humbuckers - Split outer coils.

They sound great with the inner option, only one I've tried so far.

Got to edit this. Like an idiot, I asked how an on/off/on pot worked. I realize it's a switch now. A mini switch
