Let's not forget that resistors and capacitors "break in" as they drift in value over time through usage and age.

His "Things I've learned by not listening to heavy metal anymore..." article is hilarious, because it's true. I guess it hits a little too close to home for some. Then again, there are people who think "Masterbuilt" Strats are worth 5 times the price of a Mexican Strat, when it's the same guitar.

Its an impressive record isn't it. You'd think statistically speaking he'd manage more than the meager few % correct he sits on.

It seems like these crazy types flock to guitar related stuff. Must be how subjective it all is... but still, I'll bet that we're up there in on the "craziest enthusiasts" list. Scott Grove, Ed Roman, Mr Menga here, and plenty of others I've come across and can't think of.

Try ANY article from him (here's one). He's a myopic, egotistic, misogynistic, self-absorbed idiot. Granted, some of his opinion isn't too bad, but the problem is that he seems to think his way is the only way.

There's also that Tonewood guy earlier this year. Thread of the year indeed.

That pretty much sums up Tonewoods and sounds pretty similar to the article posted in this thread too.

He is not egotistic. An egotist wishes to know, and acknowledges when he is wrong. This guy is just another self deluded dumbass.
