Pickup change on ESP Eclipse Floyd Rose

I'm looking to swap the EMG's on an ESP Eclipse FR guitar for passives. I'm looking for pickups that I could use to play 80's hair metal, hard rock and shred type music. I need suggestions for a bridge humbucker and a neck single space pup (single coil or single space humbucker), since I plan to have a sustaniac system installed in the guitar.

What do you think about the Invader in the bridge? Keep in mind that the guitar is all mahogany with an ebony fretboard. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'd put the Alternative 8 in the bridge, with a Hot Rails neck in the neck. The Hot Rails has a Ceramic magnet, which is "safer" to load right next to a sustainer system because I always worry that the sustainer circuit can interact negatively with the magnetic field of the pickup right next to it. So I want that pickup to be Ceramic because it is totally stable.

Might be too dark and muddy. I would use a Distortion for the bridge instead.

I take the invaders are good on basswood, right?

I feel invaders sound their absolute best in mahogony myself....

I would think it would be dark.. HOWEVER.. Many use them and say they are great. Keep in mind, The Syn Gates Schecter is a big mahogany guitar and has Invaders. So, may be great in your axe, to your ears..

personally, I have a Custom 8/59b in my Explorer and it rips.
