I was gonna do one pup in black/purple and an Invader in green ('cuz those black pole pieces look sweet) on my white Strat but I dunno...

I'd get pickups to match whatever clothes you like to perform in, like if you have a lucky red hat or something...

thanks for the ideas guys...my only problem with chrome is that the bridge, knobs and tuners on it are satin chrome so chrome pickups would look a bit odd............

I've seen 'brushed' chrome pickup covers recently. It might have been on a PRS. If I find something, I'll post it for ya.

heh, i got a black sz320, same body shape as yours, i put purple in it. dimarzios though, don't know if duncan has purple. it looks.......different for sure, kind of grows on ya.

i think i have seen pics of your guitar on another forum either that or someone has the same guitar with same color dimarzios in it...either way the purple look great but duncan doesn't have purple that's actually my next guitar a black SZ which will get some odd color pickups for sure. post a pic of yours if you can.

thank's everyone for your input...i'm just stuck now b/t black and pink zebra or black and white zebra now. i've never had zebras in any guitar before so i'd like to try that look out for once...now if i could jsut pick b/t the two....hmmmm classy black and white or 80's style pink and black....

fretfire...yous C-1 looks great, thats how i'd do the zebras too the black facing the bridge on both and the color facing the neck on both. black and white does look classy and matches the binding....i'm torn now...

oh and the brushed nickel finish on the pups I have in my PRS haven't aged well. Or the reverse, they've aged way too quickly. They are almost gold coming through now.

It's such a sleek guitar, the black pickups really do compliment it. But if you really want to change the appearance, a classic black/white zebra would look the best IMO. Keeps the luxury look intact.

thanks again everyone and i think i made up my mind...i'm 90% set on black and white zebras to match the white binding. i'll give myself another day or so to decide before i order.

Thanks man, remember that's actually a REVERSE zebra in the bridge and regular zebra in the neck. Otherwise the lighter sides will be facing each other.

yup that's where i saw it and also if you do a yahoo image search for ibanez sz320 (i think its 320) it will come up. as for the pickups yeah i'll do a reverse zebra in the bridge and regular zebra in the neck, i like that look better than regular zebra style.

But if you want wild, how about a rainbow; red/blue and green/yellow.
