Pickup combo in telecaster

Hey all.
Im thinking about buying this telecaster from a guy who's put a gibson 57 in the neck and a SD quarter pounder in the bridge. He's out of state so i obviously can't check it out but the price is reasonable. Any thoughts on this pickup combo would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure about the Gibson pickup (never used it), but the Tele Quarter Pound is a nice mid-heavy pickup with some twang and the power of a P90...a great pickup.

Make sure it has 500k pots.

Yes, I would recommend 500k pots as well.

How do i identify the pot size?

It's usually written on both sides of the pot. Or you can use a multimeter by connecting the leads to the outside lugs.

Will the 500s give the pickup a little more uuumph??

The 57 is so quiet. And yes i bought the guitar but its not very loud good tone but have to turn my twin all the way up to hear over the drum kit.

Check the wiring, there might be an issue there. 57s aren't quiet, unless of course, you are used to high output pickups.

Well, they let a little more high end through. If that's what you mean by 'uuumph', then yes.
