pickup for a charvel natural series

I've got the charvel custom natural series, with the roasted mahogany body and roasted maple neck, locking trem. I have a custom 5 in it, and while it sounds good its missing that mid range/high end cut that I'm looking for to do the 80s shred thing. I'm sure the JB will be recommended but its kind of a tired tone that I've done before.

So what other options for 80s shred type tones? Not really looking for ultra high output, I think the JB would be about as high output I would consider, but would prefer a responsive, dynamic pickup that cleans up well. Not just SD but any other brands as well.

Thanks

Very few people look at the Demon for heavier stuff. It's got a lot of high end cut and sort of a PAF feel in the mids with a super tight low end. If your amp has enough gain on its own, you may like it.

Seth or 59/custom.
If you want something more maiden than typical hair metal, maybe a patb 3

Love all the suggestions....Depending on the amp,

Screamin' Demon
Full Shred
Custom

Can't speak to the Parallel Axis. Never heard one. But never heard anything but love for them either....

Alternative 8 would also do the job quite nicely. Alnico response with ceramic power.
