Heres what I'd like for my bridge....a pickup with a pretty good amount of output, a pickup that isnt thin and trebley (im not a JB fan), with good clean, and has some tight bass....any help?

Re: Pickup Help

I don't know about the cleans, but a Dimarzio Super Distortion is a good choice.. it's not very impressive and not a "metal monster", but do his job well..
I don't use the bridge very much for cleans, but compared to a JB, the super distortion has better cleans in my opinion..
I know the Super D isn't the best pick up on the market, but you can't go wrong with this model if you need thick sound and balanced tones even on high gain amps. I have one on a Charvel 375, basswood body and sounds very well for classic rock or heavier stuff.
The other guys can give you other options, and let us know in which guitar you want to put a new pickup
