Pickup identifaction on an Ibanez guitar?

I've got a new RG350DX, yesterday and was wondering what the codes on the pickups relate to, kinda how seymour duncan has the duncan designed line.

The neck(hum) and middle(single) say "INF3" and the bridge(hum) says "INF4."

Could anyone tell me which pickups these actually are?

they actually sound pretty good and the 4th and 2nd positions split the hums and mix with the singles AND cancel hum.

Lol 1st guitar I haven't wanted to change anything on, so anyway could anyone please give me this info? Thanks.

They are Ibanez's cheap imports. As far as I know, there is no claim to fame with these, as some lines are "designed in the USA", or "designed by DiMarzio".

Having said that, tone is taste, so if you like what you have, don't change it.

these are the infinity pick ups, sounds so-so to me. One of the more decent stuff u can find on their guitars.

Ah, does anyone know a site for duncan clips that doesn't make every single pickup sound exactly the same?

Because currently I'm considering a VHOTPAF or tonezone, not sure.

Or I may just wire it and put an 81 in the bridge out of my crappy warlock.

And I also heard somewhere that alot of ibanez guitars had numbered pickups that were equal to certant dimarzio's and seymour duncans, thats why I asked.

The INF's are designed and made by Ibanez. No DMZ equivilant. They are weak and plastic sounding to me. Try a Super Distortion or a Breed in the bridge and breed neck or EVO bridge in the neck. EVO with the SD only. It would over-power the breed bridge.

If you like your EMG's, maybe go for them again. Depends what your after. I have 2 guitars with SD humbuckers, Love em, produces very nice clean sounds. Also Have an 81 and 85 in another guitar, these are alot more Gainy and I use that guitar only for rock/ metal.
Never really thought about DiMarzio's, most say that the SD's give a more natural sound.

AFAIK, there was no Duncan-Ibanez partnership like that.

DiMarzio did have such a relationship. The IBZUSA line was (and is - there's a current one) actually made by DiMarzio. Some were copies of existing DiMarzio models, some were different from anything else they made. Dimarzio did this with Fender & Yamaha as well.

There was another line that was "american designed", and IIRC it was a DiMarzio design made overseas. It may have been the V series and/or the QM; I forget. But the INF wasn't.
