Pickup Magnet alignment Question

Hi all,
I was wondering, Someone said to me that the magnet spacing on SD Humbuckers are not ment for Floyd Rose Equipped guitars but only Tradtional Bridged guitars, Is this correct ?

Is the alignment any different with a Floyd compared with a Traditional bridge ?

I believe if you get a trem spaced one it would work on a floyd rose. The strings are just spaced a little farther apart on trem equipped guitars compared to say, a gibson style bridge.

Ive heard of em but never seen em.

So am i right in thinking that the alignment will be different on a Floyd compared with a traditional bridge ?

I'm not at all sure how important the polepiece spacing is on a full size humbucker.

Anyone remember Hirum Bullock, the first guitar player for the Letterman show when it was on NBC? His Strat had a couple Gibson humbuckers, and I think their spacing is 1-15/16", like most Duncans. And it wasn't a problem. Sounded pretty good as I recall.

What're Strats spaces at? A little over 2-3/16"?
