Hello, I'm new the forum. I have an SSL-3 pickup that i want to install. Is there any particular direction you mount these? Since these are the single coils that don't have the tab, it's not exactly clear which way it goes. It is a 2 wire pickup with the black and white wire on opposite ends.

If it's a flat top it shouldn't make any difference. Some Seymours are hybrids, with Alnico II under some strings, and Alnico IV or V under others, but I don't think the SSL-3 is one of those; that's the only thing I can think of that might affect it.
