Pickup problem

I put a dimarzio super distortion in my bridge and when i have it flipped to that it sounds fine, but when i have the bridge & neck on, it sounds like it has no power, switch to the neck and u have full power again. has anybody else had this problem?

Your neck and bridge pickups are out of phase. Are they different brands?

yes, they are different brands. my neck pickup is the stock prs that i'm changing to a sd invader

You'll either need to flip the magnet in the bucker or switch the ground and hot wires on the pot/switch...whichever the hot wire of the Dimarzio goes to.
