Pickup sale, mostly Duncan

No, sir - wish it did. Has a white wire, a red, and a ground. Nothing fancy.

This is new old stock, the pickup has NOT been modded or rewired. It's been in the same jewel box forever marked SH12Blk. Most of this stuff I'm offering came from a store out in western Kansas that closed about 10 years ago.

that pup is not an sh12. i understand your frustration, but dont take it out on us.

Bro, don't be a jerk.

Everyone's just trying to figure out what you have. Since you didn't buy the pickup directly from SD, let's not pretend you know its entire history.

That is clearly NOT a Screamin' Demon and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Also, SD "seals" their boxes with standard clear tape. I've seen plenty of SD cases "resealed" with the exact same thing and you often can't tell that they've been opened.

As others have pointed out, the gray sheathing on the wires is not typical. The fact that there's no label on it is also telling and further suggests it's a used/modified pickup.

Lastly, "10 years" ain't that old, at least not old enough to pretend like manufacturing was a completely different world "back then", LOL! If anything, SD's production has been exceptionally consistent for the past 30 years, so when something stands out for being unusual, it's for good reason.

Agreed, not a Screamin Demon. However - since no one can agree on what it is - I deleted it. But I'm sick and damn tired of people telling me it's USED. I've been selling guitar parts for 45 years, and it's NEW.

Well FWIW, to my knowledge, the Seymour Duncan company has never shipped a pickup with grey-sleeved multi-conductor wire. I've only seen that on Asian pickups (and Rickenbacker pickups). And without an identifying sticker, but having the Seymour Duncan logo on the top, I can only guess a fake Asian Duckbucker, or a legit Duckbucker that had the hookup wires replaced, and if you insist it is new, then it would have to be a fake Asian Duckbucker. Measuring the resistance might tell more about it.

I think everyone was telling you it was a duck bucket
because it looks like a duckbucker

And after all your years of guitar work you should know the gray wire is not a standard from the factory item

So no one who has tried to help was doubting you or calling your judgment into question

Just that it looks like a duck with a new gray wire

Used or not
But not a demon

This idea that since it's in a box labeled screaming demon therefore it's a screaming demon because I say so isn't an attitude I would want to reward even if it was a great price. If it was a "Little" Screamin Demon don't you think that the paperwork for the pickup would have the correct name? If you want to prove it's a Little Screamin Demon show us the DCR.
