I am putting aph 2's in a strat. The screws and springs sem long. Can i cut them down or is there a spring and screw I should be using.

While I have never tried to cut a pickup mounting spring, I get the impression that doing so would compromise the spring and render it useless. If it won't compress enough to thread the screw into the mounting rings/pickguard, then you may be able to find shorter versions at a few different guitar parts websites.
