Hi, so I have a Modern player Jaguar loaded with p-90's & I would like to replace them as I already have several guitars with a P-90 in the neck & I really don't like them as bridge pup's? If I'm going to use a S.C. in the bridge I'd rather use one of my Stratocasters??? So im considering a Dimarzio P-90 Super Distortion and DLX Plus Pickup Set, perhaps a Virtual P-90 in the neck instead of the DLX Plus? I was wondering if anyone had some experience with these pickups & if so what they thought? If your not familiar with the M.P. Series they play GREAT but they have crappy electronics!!! I feel like this could be a awesome guitar if I can just get the right stuff in it??? Any other pickup suggestions would be great too but I'd like to keep the price someplace in the $60-$90 per range? So no more than $180 for a set & please no Noiseless P-90's, they suck, all of them, they're just awful! At least real P-90's sound good clean & kind of dirty, if you get past the 60 cycle hum???
