Pickup Switches

My pickup switches are going, both, in my Tele and Strat (G and L). Are there "good" ones out there that last longer than others?

Also for the tele - are there switches with a smaller lower body? I was thinking when I change that I may do the Nashville mod thing but I don't think I have enough cavity space for a large body switch when I flip things around

thanks!

Re: Pickup Switches

Yes, and I have no idea what they are. Before you go all switch changing, it could be just bad solder. A touch with the iron may clear it right up.

I have a 79 LP that I have been doing the Frehley Toggle Wiggle for, well, since 1979. 100%

I have a 1996 Studio that is a PITA.

Re: Pickup Switches

The Switchcraft toggle and CRL lever switches found in Gibson and Fender guitars, respectively, were originally military spec items. Anything that can withstand combat conditions has a better than fifty fifty chance of surviving the rigours of a touring rock band.
