I'm interested in creating a small group of trustworthy pickup fans, who would be willing to make their personal stash of pickups part of a temporary trade situation.
First, you've got to be someone that is known here to be a trustworthy and responsible person with a reasonable number of posts. Second, you've got to have at least 3 Duncans or other equal quality pickups ie..Rio, DiMarzio, Voodoo, Kinman. Also, to avoid costly shipping and potential loss or delays, it would be better to confine it to people within your own country.
And of course, DON'T accidentally damage a pickup, lose it, cut the wires shorter, or ruin the ends, or else the trader will have the option of being paid the retail price or keeping your contribution to the trade.
In my opinion, this would be a great way for some of us to hear a lot more pickups in our guitars without spending more or inconveniencing retailers with exchanges.
I could offer these as temporary swaps for something you have of interest to me.
