Be aware if you intend to split the humbuckers with a single in the middle that single needs to be standard wound not RW/RP if you want it to hum cancel. If you run a RW/RP it wont. Have several I am auto splitting the bucker with singles BTW.

Oh that is interesting! ok, so a regular single-coil for the middle... I am looking to use the standard Ibanez 5-way switching with the neck lower coil split in conjunction with the middle in position 4 and the bridge upper coil in conjunction with the middle in position 2.
