Pickup winding machines?

Re: Pickup winding machines?

Which Tradeshow or is for pickup designers or guitar pickup winders?
sorry they just don't have anything like this --
I heard of a pickup convention that Jason Lollar the Pickup maker attended a few years ago.. but I am not sure what that was at all.

I went to a guitar shows and they had old fender guitars and sold like fender parts and fender pickups but i forgot which one it was

Re: Pickup winding machines?

Thanks cool at least u know how to wind pickups and know some trade secrets that are cool

I thought about maybe wanting to work for the fender custom shop to wind pickups or maybe buying old strats and reverse engineering the pickups them its just a idea but im way over my head someone like u could learn alot from reverse engineering like 500 old 50's and 60's strats learning the different scattern windings and making these out of your house to sell i think the fender custom shop or people in there apt. or houses should do this so use players can just slap in different scatter pattern pickups from reverse enginnering u know what i mean?

Re: Pickup winding machines?

yea -- buts its being done by a large number of winders -- even as we type about it here -- its not like we would be the only kid on the block--

Re: Pickup winding machines?

Do u know what winders that sell these different kinds of scatter patterns from reverse engineering fender pickups please?
