dont know. Ive only tried it to test it out. not my bag(im a 9 volt guy).Might wanna ask on the guitar forum. someone will know. This isint the eric johnson model, but if its anything similar, yea, its compressed.For something w/o tons of compression, fork out the money and get a Fulltone OCD. Weeeel worth it!
