Pickups for 2006 Standard Tele

I will be getting one of these over the next few weeks and want to know if any of you duncanheads has this MIM model tele 2006. If so how are the pickups and if you were to replace them what SD pickups would you recommend. Can't wait to twang...Thanks.

I know you'd be very happy with the Jerry Donohue. I've had that one for a few years now and I can't say that I've ever been unhappy with it. Sounds great clean and has a mildly compressed sound. It performs well on a higher gain setting providing a smoother driven/distorted sound.

I think most forum members would agree that you can't really go wrong with this pickup.

Yo I just got one of these mim standard teles. I LOVE the feel of telecasters but their sound is not really my deal, I like to really rock out. For the bridge I recommend either the Little '59 or the Hot Rails depending what you are into. Either will fatten up your tone with real humbucker power. For the neck I wanted to keep the traditional tele tone but the hum pissed me off so I got the Vintage Stack. My set up rips!! Highly recommended.
