Pickups for a Dean Hardtail Select

Im planning on getting a JB for the bridge in my Dean in the title.

Will i also have to replace the neck or the tone pots?

the guitar has coil taps

You do not HAVE to replace the tone pots or the neck pickup, but if you change the bridge to a JB you may be even more disatisfied with the tone of the neck.

I have a USA Hardtail, and it came with the JB/PG set. Not a bad set of pickups, but they didn't have the clarity I wanted. After a few different sets of pickups, I ended up with a set of APH's. Couldn't be happier.
