Dude, the Slash A2p set is literally a slightly hotter A2p set. Nothing really "metal" about it.

Idk where that link took you, but I got the Perpetual Burn pickup when I clicked on it...

The Slash set seems like you are paying the extra $20/30 fir the name and there really isn't too much if a tone difference. Hell, Slash uses APH-1 in his own guitars, the derig just sounds a bit hotter due to its nature.

I was referring to the pickup he had suggested in he's previous post

The Slash is not metal at all, it can do up to around hard rock area.

What about the SH-12 George Lynch Screamin Demon. Has anyone put it in an LP style guitar?
