Hi everyone,
I was wondering what the routing was like in a Player Series Strat. I would like to put two humbuckers in but don’t know if it is routed for just HSS or if HSH is an option (I’d just use HH).
Second question, good pickup for heavy rhythm playing. I have thought about a Pegasus or Nazgul. Don’t know how that’d sound in an alder body and maple board. Also thought about custom/59 hybrid or just a custom.
Really looking for something with a a fair amount of single note articulation and a boost in the low mid for some chunky chugging. Not to much worried about the neck pickup, will go with stacks if it’s only routed for singles, I’ll put a Jazz, ‘59, or Pearly Gates in the neck if it can do a humbucker.
