Pickups for LTD EC-200qm (B standard)

I have an LTD EC-200qm tuned B to b strung with EB not even slinkies with a .60 for the 6th string, and the stock ESP pickups are not quite cutting it anymore. The body is made of Agathis which I'm told is not the best tonewood but I'm looking for pickup suggestions. It's a very dark sounding guitar so I want a bright, tight and articulate passive pickup for it. The guitar is wired with a coil split too so it would be a bonus if it can be split.

My main genre of choice is metal (death, Amon Amarth, dream theater, Haji's kitchen, etc) so I'm looking some something voiced with high gain in mind.

Currently my amp is a B-53 LG-100a with matching cabinet which is not the best but not terrible, however I'm looking for a used peavey 5150 stack for my graduation present.

Boutique pickups or a new guitar are not options as I'm pretty much flat broke as of right now.

There a many pups that would do this. The Duncan distortion is a garrenteed no fail in this situation
