Pickups for my brand new guitar???

That douche rocket Estaban has a new electric guitar out. What kind of pickups does anyone suggest?? LOL!!!!

Would a JB sound good??? I play Jazz, Classical, Flemico, Blues, Rock, Hardrock, Soft core rock, easy listening, elevator music, musical masterbation, cookie monster metal and emo. I have a gorilla amp and I will have the amp that is included with the guitar also. I plan on running a DOD grunge pedal in front of it!!

I hear the JB is sooooo versatile. Are you folks sure it will do Jazz, Classical, Flemico, Blues, Rock, Hardrock, Soft core rock, easy listening, elevator music, musical masterbation, cookie monster metal and emo well. I need them all to sound exact!!!! I hope the JB can give me those sounds through my gorilla and grunge pedal!!!

I bought one of those a couple weeks ago actually. That setup TOTALLY rocks! Especially the amp. Who needs boutique when Esteban is designing these quality pieces of equipment for us? It sounds just like my old 2203 full stack. By far the best SS amp I've ever experienced. And the clean would put any Fender to shame. The amp is almost as good as a Rockman.

Almost.

BTW, I feel an Invader sounds much better due the natural tone of the particleboard body.

I can't stop laughing at that. I might have expected them to embellish the savings a bit. "You save $1000.00!!" But that's just...just.......

Dave, you really won't need that gorrilla amp. Just plug the guitar directly into the mic input on your stereo. Be sure you hit the "bass boost" button, though so you can balance the ear-piercing screams of the JB. And you definitely need .007s on it. Otherwise the tone will be too thick.

Or, if that tone is just not doing it for you, find a set of headphones from Walmart - any kind will do. Break off the tiny speaker and duct tape it to the bottom of an aluminum trash can. Suspend the trash can from your ceiling with fishing line. Plug the headphones into your grunge pedal and rock out. It's like free amplification!!
