Pickups for popular Jackson Dinky DK2

Hello to all,

Just bought a 1999 Jackson Dinky DK2, with a HSS pickup configuration.

I'm replacing the stock Duncan Designed with american Duncans, namely a Full Shred on the bridge, a Vintage Rails on the middle, and a Cool Rails on the neck.

Has anyone tried this combo? How was the experience?

It's actually a pretty poplar combo. You will probably like it if you like tight and focused upper mids and highs. Think of the Cool Rails as a Jazz Jr. and the Full Shred as an extra articulate Custom 5. The Vintage Rails is pretty nice, but I usually prefer true single coils in the middle position.

Oops, my keyboard is set to portuguese, hence the mistake on the topic name...

Seems like I made the right choice. Once I save some money to make the improvements, since some hardware will also be changed, I'll post about it along with photos of the before and after...
