what are the back pins and extra jack on the back of the delay for?

for an analog pedal, how does it sound like? are the pots scratchy?

I dont really know what those pins are for. Maybe a tiny bit of scratchiness in pots. Nothing serious unless maybe your in a studio.Sounds very good.
