Pickups on Schecter Omen

I found a Schecter Omen 6 in my local music store yesterday. I played it unplugged and fell in love with the neck and the action. And it is so-o-o purty!!! (Electric Blue)

I was just wondering if anyone here had any information about the stock pickups. Down the road, I'm sure I will change them out, but if I get it, I would like to be able to play it for a while stock.

Okay - confession: I mentioned the guitar to my wife, and she said "You're not going to change out the pickups right away are you?"

I would appreciate any feedback on this

Basswood body, Duncan distortion ROCKS in the bridge of that guitar. The stock pickups aren't very good

Okay... so I guess it's probably not worth $300? ...plus another $140 for two pickups down the road...

It's the only Schecter in the store right now... I'll keep checking back...

I like the 006 deluxe better.

Okay - I'm curious... why is the 006 deluxe better than the Omen 6? I checked the specs and they look identical.

I like the shape/feel of it better...It's not better, just different. :3
