Pickups similar to Squire VM Jazz Bass

Hi!

I want to buy some Seymour Duncan pickups similar to those that came with Squire JB VM, which I like very much.

Witch basslines model are similar?

It's for a new jazz bass bass I'm assembling with different parts

Welcome to the forum.

The pickups used in the Squier VM Jazz Bass are the Duncan Designed type. These are based on Made In USA SD Vintage for Jazz Bass. If you want the slap of Marcus Miller or the scrabble of Geddy Lee, these pickups will deliver. For something more like Jaco Pastorius, get the Antiquity version.

One other consideration. Will your bridge pickup be in the Sixties position or the Seventies position (i.e. Later instruments had the pickup installed slightly closer to the fingerboard.)

The bridge pickup is in the same position as the Squire VM not sure what position is
