Pickups suggestions-New Washburn N4 swampash

I just got a swamp ash N4 and it came with the crappy "fake" Bill Lawrence pickup. I am undecided whether I will order the real one from Bill because I don't want to wait that long. I want it for hard rock/metal mostly, but some clean stuff as well. I may or may not keep the 59N in there. Remember this guitar has only 1 volume control and no tone control. Also has an ebony fretboard if that helps.

I would drop in a Distortion for the bridge and keep the 59 for versatility and cleans.

I would go for the duncan custom and the 59.

compared to the amount of time you'll own and play that guitar, the wait for a real deal 500 XL isnt that long ... and it is an absolutely spectacular pickup .. i'd say place your order with bill opr becky and then forget about it .. the day it shows up at your door will be like a mini gift giving holiday

the duncans, of course, are just as incredible ...

What kind of amp do you play?

Right now I'm only playing through a borrowed pod xt until I get my new amp. Probably a rivera chubster in the soon future.

Yes, I think that is a good choice also. I just am trying to think of all the options. Even rio grande and dimarzio as well.
