Pickups with tight bass and enough output (metal, strat size if possible)

yeaaah I made a few threads but er... I didn't get as much info as I hoped... so I reiterate, sorry... :newangel:
What pickups by SD or DiMarzio (...) have tight bass? The Full Shred I hear (which will shortly end up in my model 4) and what others? I'm interested mostly in the SC size humbuckers :) Thanks for any feedback.
(in case the wood matters, the guitar is made of basswood)

For tight bass, tons of clarity, loads of output, and dead quiet operation, I suggest an EMG Dave Gilmour set. They're clean enough to sound very stratty, but pack enough punch for metal.

Good idea and original but I don't want nor need a set, just a single bridge pickup. Thanks :)

Ahhh d'accord. On m'a dit que les hotrails n'avaient

ok sorry, I just got back from the French guitar forums (guitariste) and I was thinking in French. I thought it was too funny to not keep it there :D
I heard that the bass on the hotrails aren't that tight and the tone wizard advises a Coolrails? Would the Coolrails correspond more to what I'm looking for than the hotrails you think?

Sorry for the bump, but I found this:

The price is darn good, would it be enough in the bridge position or would it really sound wrong? Someone here advised it so I'm thinking maybe it's the one. Do they also have the tight bass (I assume that the less resistance the less wiring, the less marked characteristics should I put it in the bridge, compared to the bridge version?)
