hey i bought a dimebucker and a invader for my guitar, when i got home i found out that the invader is the bridge invader, so now i have to return and change that for a neck one, but now im thinking on gettig a jazz or maybe a 59, or a dimarzio paf what do you think about it ????
how the sound will be if i leave the invader bridge in the neck????

Re: pickups

dont leve thei nvader bridge in the neck get that chaneged. What guitar do u have? wood ext? I gues a 59 would sound nice too

Re: pickups

Definately DEFINITELY go with the 59 or Jazz. Much more versatile. I have a feeling that the Invader neck would have too much of a different EQ range and frequency than the dimebucker, in a bad way, and would sound mismatched.

If the Dimebucker is anywhere remotely similar to a Bill Lawrence XL500, then go with a 59. My buddy has that in his Washburn Nuno (XL500 w a 59Neck) and the combo is killer, and very versatile.

Re: pickups

can we say mud city? the invader bridge in the neck will be way too loud and muddy. depending where you are on the planet, you can exchange your invader within 21 days for another duncan pickup.

that said, why not try the 59? dimebag uses that combo. do make sure its a neck model though.

Re: pickups

thanks, i got the 59 neck, i was between the jazz and 59, but ended up with the last one, i was sure i had the neck one, the clerk was kind of noobie, since the pickup is labeled sh-1n 59 model blk, he thought that the blk was for bridge, and that was the bridge model (that explains the invader mistake), but i couldnt believe that from 5 pickups, all of them were bridge so i asked the tech and finallygot my 59 neck
