Re: ¡Pickups!

Free bump.

I've been thinking of putting an SM-1/SM-3 set in my Green Buddy. Should look classy and should sound fantastic. Too bad I don't have any money, or I'd hop all over yours (they seem to be somewhat hard to find). What'd you think of it, Black? Did you ever use it?

Edit: Just noticed yours is a neck SM-3, and I'd rather have a SM-1 neck. Regardless, how did it sound?

I don't know, I've never installed it in anything. I've also got a SM-2 bridge, but I think I m going to hold onto it.

Re: ¡Pickups!

:O! the Phat Cat wasn't for you either eh?

~Mitch~

No, the Phat Cat is an awesome pickup. I found AN amazing nitro'ed Tele body with the sweetest mahogany you have ever seen and a Barden bridge for a little more than what my MM cost, so I bought it. The MM got sold, but dude doesn't want the Phat Cat. Now I no longer have a guitar to put it in.
