elvhfan Well man, your sound clips are one of the many reasons I got one too. I actually heard your clips the day I ordered mine. It closed the deal.

i'm honored. i'm glad those inspired someone to grab one of those...even though they weren't the best sound quality you can tell that they do the brown sound really well...

i see that yours has the 1/2 power switch...mine was one of the early ones without it...how long was the wait for your quick rod?

also, i think scott has a picture of yours up on his site now...there's one with snakeskin tolex...

Yeah, they were low quality, but the character of the tone was there. I just got some more stuff for my home studio setup so I should have some super high quality clips in the next week or so.

It took exactly 4 weeks. He was 5-6 weeks behind but he put a little rush on it for me because I gig so often. and I have this huge New Years gig Friday, so I am thankful I'll get a week to spend with it before this weekend.

Yeah they are opening for us. I used to be in another band with the singer a few years ago, he is awesome. Should be a helluva night. Were playing at downtown Orlando's most coveted club on the biggest night of the year, should be a freakin blast.

wow...sounds like that's gonna be a huge night...we're playing on new year's eve also up here in CT but nothing like that...best of luck

Hey at least your playing, I know this year New Years gigs seem thin for whatever reason. I know alot of good bands that don't have a gig this year. Weird.

yeah we've been pretty lucky...everywhere we play they always want us back so that's a good sign...hard to believe 2005 is a few days away

Thats great. I felt bad, we turned down a nice NYE gig at one of our regular stops to do this thing downtown, but it was too good too pass up.

Just for my own curiosity, what to do A or B circuit cover bands make up there on a weekend these days? I know thats a great area up there, I'm from Cleveland originally and used to love playing the NE and New England Areas.

that's tough to say...it'a ll about draw up here...A level bands like "darik and the funbags" can make $3500 a night...but they PACK PLACES...B level bands (in terms of draw) make about $500-$1000...that's where we're at right now

Yep, thats about how it is here too. We do mostly B level bars and clubs for the $500-$1000 range and the occasional A gig like Friday. Orlando sucks for rock though.

No, not at all man. They cost $1500.00 and I got the Mullard upgrade so it was $1580.00. Shipping was $30.00. No tax.
