The extra space on top is for the Fulldrive II I just purchased off eBay

Re: Pics of the new NYC pedalboard

What is the height of the gap for power beneath the riser?
can u please measure it?

And hows the foam? Does it cover the rised pedals and floor pedals well?

Re: Pics of the new NYC pedalboard

Nice! Welcome to the NYC Club!

As for the dirt boxes...I use 3 on my board...stack them together or use them one at a time...

as for the space under the riser...it's just barely big anough for a VooDoo Pedal Power to fit under. And the foam is great...these NYC Boards are as solid as a rock!

Great looking board! (I still want one!)

The pedal layout reminds me of a pack of Chuckles, for some reason ...:)

How are the pedals affixed? Is this a velcro deal or do you screw them on?
That space up top looks like it could accomodate a Twin Tube Classic . . .

Re: Pics of the new NYC pedalboard

This one is the pedalhead board. The board is very sturdy. I've even wondered if I could set my amp on top of the cover when it's off to get it off the ground a bit. It's a big improvement over my other one. There is not much tone suckage. The digitech is probably the worst of the bunch. The Vox is true bypass so no problems there. After I get my George L's on there it should help.

I'm not much on time based effects. The digitech gives me the basics if I want it. If the FullDrive is what I think it is then the yellow Boss pedal might go and then I might buy one of those cheap Arion chorus's. My HRDx is pretty much useless for getting overdriven tones from it so I have to use pedals, and I like different flavors of overdrives and distortions. I've still got a lot to learn effects wise. You know whats great though, I'm done with gear buying for a long time. I've got the setup I want and can now put money towards other things. Next thing I buy is going to be a really nice amp but that won't be till after college. And right now my playing skill dosen't justify having a high end expensive amp.

Matt: the pedals are attached with velcro. But let me tell you this stuff is the real deal. On my other cheap board I had it was easy to pull off a pedal. I have to pull like hell to get them to come off of this one. It pulled the rubber off the bottom of the tube screamer when I tried to take it off. And why don't you send me a twin tube classic and I'd be glad to stick it up there

Re: Pics of the new NYC pedalboard

It looks great. The only thing I'd do differently is put the most used pedals in front, like the FDII, amp switcher, and tube screamer. Then, put the ones you rarely step on in back. For common functions like amp ch. and OD, you don't want to step too deep into the board. I tend to put my modulation FX in the back, and then use a dual loop box to activate them, which is front/center.

I wish my NYC pedalboard looked as clean as yours. Mine is dirty with a few burn marks across the top.
