Re: Pictures without words

One piece swamp ash body for a guitar I am putting together.

The funny part is I had no intention of doing a contoured heel, but when I was mocking up the guitar, I realized I did not have 4 neck screws the correct length. I only had two long, and two short.

So, an hour and a couple of router passes later I have a contoured heel, and my screws fit. :lmao:

Gotta make do with what we have on hand.

Wow, just two years later, you do realize that in that timeframe you could have just gotten to a hardware store and get two long screws right? :9:

Congrats man on another great job, so, when are you thinking of having it done, sometime on 2012 perhaps? :stooges:

Haha I was thinking the exact same thing.

Looks awesome! I love slanted singlecoils in the middle or neck positions.

I don't really remember the exact reason for the delay. I did the heel, and it went back on the shelf.

I think I was waiting for the pick guard at one point, and then the bridge pickup I wanted to use. I did recover a couple things in that time period as well. :D
