Piezo Bridge Volume Pot

ehdwuld

A Ficus
So I have a piezo Bridge

I put one on my Ehdwuld branded Blue semihollow and I just cant get it to sound right

maybe the volume pot value is too big at 500M

has anyone else put a piezo bridge?

what value volume did you use

on my other Ehdwuld branded guitar
I got a Kaish bridge off Amazon
and plan on a single volume with no tone

help me with the values please

you are awesome thanks so much
perfect

my Dean Shire has a non battery piezo bridge that sounds awesome but the Shire is my heaviest guitar
I plan on putting this in my lightest one

the Artec M3 or M3 active tone would probably be what you want

they had a version with a cavity mounted box that had small pots on it
thats the one I am trying to find
as I dont want all the external pots either
dont really want the battery but there it is

Piezo pickups are incredibly high impedance, so high value pots is the way to go. It also helps smooth out the spikiness of piezos to use some kind of buffer or pre-amp.

This is the endpin preamp I bought which I have not received yet. It has both a volume and tone. There's also a model with just volume. I will see if using an active preamp with the piezo does anything special for my guitar before I drill any holes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Endpin-Jac...666028?hash=item5447c9e2ec:g:zgEAAOSwH09ZFTGA
