Pignose and portable amps

Hey everyone. I'm in the market for portable, battery powered amp. Pignose amps look like a good choice: there battery powered, some-what small but with power, and pretty damned sexy. But I don't know of their durablity, and I don't know how great their tone is compared to other small amps. I'm looking for small, battery powered, and at least more than 5 watts; what do you all suggest?

Roland Microcube....awesome.....20 hours on 6 AA (And I have tested)...great sound....highly recommended by me.....all you play is metal, maybe not be it does have an okay high gain sound

This should probably go to amplifier central

And it can get loud for what it is...

I second the microcube. It's a really fun little amp. And I really like the acoustic simulator setting it has. It also has built in effects and reverb. I wouldn't consider the effects to be that great if it were a full size amp, but for the microcube they are pretty fun.
