Pigtronix Echolution and DLS Echo Taps are KOOOL Delays!!!

I am very impressed with both of these pedals. The DLS has two modes and tap tempo and sounds incredible.

The Pigtronix Echolution has tremolo, chorus, delay and tap tempo. There is also a switch there that allows you to wipe your butt too!

I'll be honest though, the Pigtronix sounds better than the DLS. More to come soon. Right now my bro's and I are having a shootout!

there's my baby. i know you wish you coulda kept it but the echolution had to come home with me. there will be many more oppurtunities for jamming. plus, i gotta figure this thing out first.

p.s. if you add any more delay to that pedal board, we'll be waiting for hours for the signal to come through the speakers.

Alright, now I'm not the only DLS Echotap user here :fing2:

I'll probably end up selling mine when the Eventide Time Factor comes out, but my DLS has served me well for over the past year (sold a Hughes and Kettner Replex to fund it and haven't regretted a thing).

The tap tempo feature works extremely well. You've probably already noticed this, but in order to get the repeats nice and loud you'll have to dial the tone in almost completely counter clockwise. It can get some very cool analog-ish sounds, but I prefer using the longer digital delay trails on it.

Kyle, if you wake up one morning smelling like ether and your Echolution is missing DO NOT come looking for Greg and me... it was probably a Delay Gnome (they're always after mack daddy delay pedals)!

ah yes, the infamous delay knomes. i would never suspect you or greg. but now i just gotta get a pedaltrain and a power supply to mount it and everything else on. its soon to come, yours seemed to turn out well.

Nice! I like the new board choice too! Pedaltrain kicks the door off the hinges!

You know, if you move the SD Pickup Booster, TU-2, Wah, and OD box down a bit you could probably fit that Echolution on your pedaltrain there. Just thought I'd chime in with that little bit of real estate advice.

Also, going a little delay crazy aren't we?

yeah, the echolution belongs to 'blueslegend8' (Kyle) I was there that night that pic was taken, also in the house was a DL4 and a Boss Digital Delay... we never got around putting them all on one chain and seeing what it'd do the signal, but maybe next time we're over there we could try... hmmm :33:

im down for that. except maybe we should use my old solid state amp instead of any of our tubes. you never know when that many delay pedals stringed together could spiral off into a self oscillating cycle and blow a speaker or something. :eyecrazy:
