I'd say SSL or APS singles. I think he mostly used CBS era strats fairly stock (other than some trem adjusts. Read somewhere about using a Dimarzio in the late 70's

hey Fuzzratfarts, Im not a big fan of Gilmour work, but Im into a PinkFloyd tribute project. I had that DG20 pickguard last year, I sold it 2-3 months after. It will only cover the 80-90s stuff, including Pulse. Period.
Some nice single-coils like SSL, Antiquities and some other brands, with a hotter bridge pickup, will get you there. Gilmour tone is more into Compressor, Modulation and EQ'ing rather than pickups.
Dont forget that clean amp too....
