Planet K LIVE CUTS.... Funky Funky....

I tossed up a a couple mics at Sundays rehearsal and got what I think is some cool stuff. I gotta say, Nate Pate, the other guitar player in the live group, is just about the funkiest player I have ever heard. Just listen to the chord grooves he is laying down. I went to high school with all the band members. Very cool, as all these guys play the shizzle out of their instruments.... These are live, and extremely spontaneous. Lot's of jamming, so they are a bit longer than the album versions I have. This is one hell of a fun project to be playing live!!! Finally have some gigs coming up, among them a battle of the bands. Hopefully instrumental rock will make a good showing.

Useing my Tokai Tele and my Silvertone 1483 head..
Nate has his Strat and a Crate VC2012 converted to a head. Killer little amp!!

Thanks for checking it out, there are some funky players in the group for sure. Must have been something in the water at high school...lol

We are playing Stub n Herb's Sat. Dec. 2 That bar is on the campus near Dinky Town. 11:30 start

Renegades in Burnsville, Thurs Dec 22 at their battle of the bands. We go on right at 9:00 Sounds like it should be a fun contest!!

LOL, thanks!! The live thing is extremely loose and there are a few tunes where I really get to open up. When I first jumped back into instrumental music, I knew I would like it. I did not think I would be totally willing to abandon any other form of music... I think now, maybe I can!!

Awesome!! I am a CD jammer myself. I spent my early years playing to just about anything and everything on my cassette deck.
