Planning to attempt a build.

A while back, I was gifted an enclosure with knobs and switches installed and 2 Blues Breaker clone PCB's that were designed with room to add several mods. ... And I've decided to build a King of Tone based pedal. I've ordered my stock diodes and already had the rest of what I needed. I've decided to also add a second clipping option on each PCB. I've decided on red LED's for one side and I'll see what else I happen to have on hand for the other. I'm also planning on a high gain mod, but thinking of trying for slightly higher gain than the Analogman High Gain version.

Couldn't find the near unobtainium diodes that the original uses, but the diodes I have found are a NOS diode that is said to be very close.

Can't wait to get started. Hopefully this works out better than my IC Big Muff did. Had an experienced builder look at it and he couldn't find any bad parts or even a bad solder join. I'm chalking it up to being the reason why a $20 DIY project on eBay, is a waste of money... Well, not a total waste. I learned how to solder in a crowded PCB.

Re: Planning to attempt a build.

Hope it works out! I wish I had the patience and skill to build my own stuff.
