SRV has never really done anything for me, so all you get out of that is a bog standard strat that has been beat to shit. I have always been curious to try out a scalloped fretboard guitar, so would want to play Malmsteen's guitar . . . and ssl-2s/ssl-6s is basically what I always use on my strat, so Gilmour's setup is one I'd love to keep.

Play the Yngwie Strat because it's weird
Keep the Gilmore Black Strat because it's Gilmore.
WoodChip the SRV -while I respect his ability -SRV is the most over blown guitarist and I dont think his music is that great.
