You have to return the one with the defect if you want the replacement.

Not sure what they will do with the returned guitars. I'm sure they will at least salvage everything but the body and the bridge. Otherwise, everything else can be re-used. I asked the Tech I spoke to at Fender and he didn't know or wouldn't say.

Expect vandalism, several holes drilled with large drill bit or whacks with an axe, hardware removed then off to a dumpster

Back in the day (five years ago?) "rejected" and shipping damaged Fenders were on eBay with the logos scraped off, sold for parts. Don't know if Fender themselves or their dealers did that.

the bridge and saddles I ordered got here.
They fit so far. No problems. Seems identical to mim standard routing. On mine at least.
