Playin’ the Blues - pickup ?

Thinking of new pickups for Strat.
Neck - ALNICO II PRO STAGGERED STRAT
Middle- ALNICO II PRO STAGGERED STRAT
Bridge - COOL RAILS STRAT - BRIDGE

Any comments, suggestions or experience with this set up will be appreciated.
I plan on one volume and one tone also push push on the volume knob to split the Cool Rails.
Thanks

welcome to the forum!

i like the alnico 2 pro single coils a lot although i went for the aps2 flat pole version. smooth high end and more mids than a typical fender pup but still very vintage sounding. i think that is a great set, not sure how the cool rails bridge split will be. i had a lil 59 (neck model) in the bridge which was a great match but the split sound was pretty thin and wimpy. might be ok for the notch tone though. it doesnt hurt to put the switch in so its an option but you may not end up using it much, or at least i dont think i would.

Actually, that sounds like a great set. The bridge pickup will be brighter and hotter than the other 2, which is what I assume you want. The Cool Rails doesn't sound much like a single coil pickup...more like a single coil-sized version of the Jazz humbucker. But that sounds good, to me.

the cool rails (with 250k pots) wont be that bright compared to the aps1 in the neck and middle. should be a great sounding set
