Ah yes and another thing... where is that capacitor in my guitar?
And another another thing... what's the difference betwenn an On-Off-On and an On-On Switch? They look quite the same on the allparts Homepage... Can I use the On Off On to have a third, blank position which would be the "kill switch"?

The capacitor will be soldered to either the volume pot, the tone pot, or both, going between them. It may be very small. It might be orange, or green, or brown-ish.

A DPDT switch can be made with either 2 or 3 handle positions, in several different configurations. The most common is simply on-on. The common terminals connect to one side or the other. Thats how a push/pull pot is made. Like this:

An on-off-on switch rests in the middle with neither connection made. An on-on-on switch will rest in the middle with one contact made to one side, the other contact to the other side.

And yes, you can use an on-off-on for a "kill" switch. ;)

Thanks guy you're my personal hero now... these switches do exactly what i'm looking for... whoa... the wiring I'm going to do will really be the sickest ever encountered...
