Please help with my SD Tap Delay! (UK)

Ahoy,

I have a wondrous but well used tap delay unit, love it to pieces but unfortunately the analog side seems to have ceased working, if I turn the D/A blend knob all the way to analog the signal just peters out to nothing!

I'm not complaining, the unit is a few years old now and out of warranty but I really like this unit, I got a replacement from TC but I dont like it half as much.

Can anybody point me the way of someone who fixes these in the UK?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :thanks:

Welcome to the forum.

The obvious suggestion is to open the case and inspect the PCB for dry solder joints and/or loose block connectors. Spraying a little electro-lubricant into the Blend pot could help too.

Well I did that....found a loose connection and presto! Fixed! Ok I admit to being a chump for not even opening it but its the first time I've ever opened a stomp box!

Thanks for taking the time to reply mate, much appreciated!
